Seven Weeks to Silence
Course Curriculum
7 Unique Guided Meditations Over 7 Weeks
Each week you will be provided with a new guided meditation, and each week the space for silence increases. Week one we start with one minute intervals of silence with guided deepening between each minute, and each week the intervals will become longer until you are able to meditate on your own. You can revisit any meditation at any time, working at your own pace, and the recordings are yours for life.
Weekly Classes
The weekly class curriculum is laid out below. Beyond the tips and tricks for deepening your meditation practice, this is your time to bring any questions you have, to connect and share your experiences with class mates, and hold yourself accountable in your daily practice outside of the class. You will also have the option of joining a chat group with the other participants.
We believe the best way to learn meditation is through experiencing, so informative lectures will be kept brief, and will be more focused on problem solving your struggles to finding silence.
Meditation Curriculum
Week 1
Contemplation and Meditation
There is no silence if you haven't given your mind the space to process thoughts. Week 1 we talk about the role thoughts play in your daily life, in your mental clarity and in your meditation practice.

Week 2
Techniques for quieting your mind
Learning to quiet your thoughts instead of fighting them takes time. Week 2 we start to learn techniques to allow your thoughts without judging them.
Week 3
Traditional Techniques for Meditation
Learn the different techniques for focusing your mind. Everyone has a different mind structure and therefore, everyone will have different needs when it comes to technique.
Week 4
Body Comfort During Meditation
At this point in your practice you will have a good idea on where the weak spots in your body are, and how your body feels in meditation, we will discuss and problem solve any issues with discomfort you may be experiencing.
Week 5
Hypnotic Induction Techniques
Now that you are getting deeper into your practice we will begin to discuss the relaxation techniques we known as induction techniques we use in hypnotherapy, these techniques will help you as you begin to transition away from the guided meditations and towards self guided silence.
Week 6
Deepening Techniques
Once you know how to get yourself into a state of relaxation, you may find yourself craving a deeper level of relaxation, or looking for more techniques to quiet the chatter of your mind, deepening techniques, used in hypnotherapy to "deepen" the clients mind to a slower, more relaxed state, can be incredibly helpful.
Week 7
Wrap Up Week
This week we will experience our first meditation with complete silence, the time after class will be used to discuss progress, lack of, and plans for future meditation practice.
